The Truth Will Set You Free!

These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.
(Acts 17:11)

Letter From The Editor - MEET THE JESUS OF EASTER

"First ask who's the real Jesus "not" what denomination is true." by Jon Hanna
by Editor, Jon Hanna

Mainline religions as well as fringe cults use the name of Jesus to deceive many into believing that salvation can only come through their denomination or church. This cult spirit robs God of His glory and Jesus of His praise. Men are falsely taught to believe that their personal salvation comes from one or more of the following; church membership, good works, spiritual gifts and/or apparent successful ministry."

In 2nd Corinthians, chapter 11, Paul reveals his concern for the church at Corinth by openly telling them that he is afraid for them, that they may allow themselves to be deceived. He goes on to say that he believes that they may even put up with those who preach another Jesus or have a different spirit or preach a different gospel. This was a warning to them, not because he hated them but because he loved them.

Today, in the world there are billions of deceived religious people who are headed for destruction because they believe a lie. Today there are multitudes of people who don't believe God's plan of salvation.

There are many Jesus' being preached but there is only one true Jesus.

Some preach Jesus the philosopher. Some preach Jesus the prophet. Some preach Jesus the good man. Some preach Jesus is only the beginning of salvation. Some preach Jesus is just Mary's son.

However, Jesus Christ is no boy. He's not just the beginning, He's the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end. He's an awesome, powerful deliverer. He's our Savior Lord and King. A mighty God is He. He rules and He reigns with all authority.

He came to earth as the only begotten son of God, the creator of Heaven and Earth and all that is therein. He came and layed His life down in obedience to Father God, as a ransom for our souls. Jesus suffered and died for us and only His blood, representing God's love for us, can take away the sins of the world. Only God's sacrifice can justify, qualify or sanctify you whole.

On the third day, Jesus defeated death, hell and the grave when he arose from the dead. Although He is currently seated at the right hand of God, He lives in the hearts of true believers everywhere. By His spirit He lives in us and empowers us to live Godly, Holy and righteous lives. Although we're not perfect He changes us day by day, from one degree of glory to the next. It is by grace we are saved and not by works lest any man should boast. He empowers us to be who we could not be on our own and He gets all the praise for our change. He gets all the praise for our salvation.

We are born again as Jesus, in John Chapter 3, says we must be. New creations. Jesus is the fullness of our salvation and not our denominations. There is no other name given among men whereby we must be saved than that of Jesus Christ.

It is the resurrected Jesus in whom we trust and make our boast. We are complete in Jesus Christ as God's word promises in Colossians 2:10. The blood of Jesus satisfied our debt with God and now, we have peace with the one true God of all creation. All praise belongs to you Lord God our Righteousness. In Jesus' name we give you all the praise!

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)
