I'm Too Blessed To Be Stressed!

I don't know about you, but I am glad that spring is here. It's like God breathes on us a newness that's reflected in the blossoming flowers, beautiful green grass, and gentle spring breezes. This may sound corny, but when I think of how good God is, I feel like jumping up and down and running through a meadow like Julie Andrews did in "The Sound of Music." Except I would be singing "Hallelujah, Thank you Jesus, Praise your name Lord, I Love You Jesus". I just get so excited when I think about the goodness of God. He is so awesome!

If you're coming out of a winter "blah" season, shake it off and rejoice in the Lord. Let this new season of Spring be a new season of spiritual growth for you. No matter what circumstance you may be dealing with at this time, just say "Hallelujah Anyhow". Every time that negative thought passes through your mind say "Hallelujah Anyhow". You see, Hallelujah is the highest praise and God loves it when His people praise Him. The Bible says in Psalm 150 "Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord." So praise God, for He is greatly to be praised. Praise Him for this new season of spring and for allowing you to experience it.

And the good thing about God is that we can praise Him in many ways. He wants us to praise him with our mouth, we can clap our hands, pat our feet, praise him with instruments and if you don't have instruments you can take a spoon and beat an old pot or pan (children please get your parent's permission). I encourage all of you to make a joyful noise unto the lord. Shout Hallelujah to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Once you open up to praising God on a regular basis, despite your situation, you will be amazed how God will begin to turn things around to work in your favor. But you shouldn't praise God just because you want him to do something for you (He's already done plenty) but you should praise him because he is God...period. He has given us the greatest gift we will ever receive through his son Jesus Christ. That should make you shout Hallelujah!

Just think about what God is doing in your life right now. Think about where you were this time last year and how much God has brought you through and what God has brought you to. Thank you Jesus! And here's a news flash for you...He's not finished with you yet! So as we embrace a new season I encourage you to get excited about God. He loves you so much and He's excited about you! That's right y-o-u.

So if someone is plucking your nerves, pray for them and say Hallelujah Anyhow. If the job is stressing you out, just shout Hallelujah Anyhow! If you're tired of being confused and depressed, remember you're too blessed to be stressed and say Hallelujah Anyhow!

No matter what you're going through just say HALLELUJAH...ANYHOW!!! LET EVERYONE PRAISE THE LORD!!!
