The Truth Will Set You Free!

These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.
(Acts 17:11)

The Myth of Separation of Church and State is Exposed by Expert

ACLU accused of inventing the 'separation of church and state' lie that has permeated U.S. politics for the last 50 years.

(AgapePress) - A leading expert on the founding of the United States and its emphasis on Christian values says it is important for Americans to know that the mythical "separation of church and state" is a lie invented by anti-Christian groups like the ACLU.Two hundred twenty-seven years ago, Patrick Henry delivered his famous speech from St. John's Church, in which he said "Give me liberty or give me death." Henry was a Christian and was typical of the founding fathers, who believed that the foundation of Americans' liberty lay in applying their personal faith in Christ to public life.

Dr. Frank Wright of The Center for Christian Statesmanship says it was anti-gospel forces in the mid-twentieth century who invented the myth of separation of church and state - not the founding fathers."If you look at the actions of the founders themselves, you can see clearly that they were not at all concerned with the separation of church and state as it's understood in certain circles today," Wright says. "One of the first acts of the new Congress was [to appropriate] funds for the printing of Bibles in America."Wright says that would be quite a radical idea for a group of people who believed in the separation of church and state. "The founders were by and large Christians who brought a Christian world and life view to the establishment of our institutions and our government structure," he says.

Wright says anti-Christianity groups like the ACLU have simply invented the separation of church and state lie. "The very people that wrote and adopted the First Amendment demonstrate clearly by their own behavior that they have no such interpretation as advanced by the ACLU," he says. "American jurisprudence, all the way down through 1947, never restricted or applied that kind of interpretation to the separation of church and state."

Wright says beginning with the famous Everson v. Board of Education case of 1947, secular humanists have waged a campaign to remove God from public life and have fabricated a lie to carry it out.
