Redeem The Time

Do you have a daily quiet time with God?
It takes discipline to walk the straight line.
How often do you pray and study the Bible?
Having the right priorities will help to redeem the time.
The seconds and minutes continue to tick away,
The months and years come and quickly go.
Are you living in a way that brings glory to God?
In the end, what will your life show?

Will you begin right now to redeem the time?
Do the will of your heavenly Father above.
Surrender your all and be led by God's spirit.
Always redeem the time with compassion and love.
The night will come when no one can work,
So work now while we still have the day.
Share the Gospel of Christ and be a blessing,
Help hurting people in a loving and caring way.

To be a disciple of Christ is to be like Him,
Follow His instructions, and do what He has said.
Walk as He walked and be conformed to His image.
The Bible says, "Faith without works is dead"!
Don't procrastinate and put off what you can do today,
It is time to seek God and hear His voice.
"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus
Unto good works," This is His will and choice.

May we apply our hearts unto God's wisdom,
For our days are numbered upon this earth.
The good we can do, we must do it now,
Let your ministry come forth, it's time to give it birth!

"To every thing there is a season, and a time
To every purpose under the heaven," 'Tis true.
For such a time as this you have been born,
Redeem the time and be faithful in all you do!
