Why Is Israel The Most Hated Nation In All Of History?
"Sir", the TV reporter asked, "why do you think people hate Israel?" I thought, "What a question!" In all the pundits' ponderings, I had never heard anyone address this issue.

Why do the nations of the world hate Israel? This is not just a recent or Arabic hatred. Anti-Semitism has been rampant worldwide for centuries. We are most familiar with the virulent anti-Semitism of the Third Reich, Hitler's Holocaust. "Six million Jews", the Holocaust museums, and the seizing of Jewish assets by international bankers are all part of the modern consciousness.
But why does Israel generate such a visceral response? There is no structured hatred against any Arabic nations that I am aware of. Some may think the French are rude, but none disputes their right to exist. The English, often considered snobs, are not marked for annihilation. Even the "ugly Americans", hated (according to many apologists for terrorists around the world) because of its "pro-Jewish" policies, are not targeted for genocide.
To my knowledge, no African nation, European nation, nor Asian nation is so marked for destruction. Why Israel? Massive armies have often marched, and powerful intrigues have been introduced against her. Mordecai and Esther appeared on history's stage to save the Jewish nation when "Haman sought to destroy all the Jews that were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus, even the people of Mordecai." (Esther 3:6b)
Today, substitute almost any radical Islamic leader for Haman, and discover that the goal is identical the total destruction of Israel, a small country about the size of Rhode Island, with a population about equal to New Jersey. It sits in the heart of more than 100 million Arabs, most dedicated to the annihilation of this tiny nation.
The day after declaring its independence in 1948, Israel was attacked simultaneously by Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, and Iraq. Five powerful armies invaded this tiny, struggling, newborn country. The "Palestinian refugee" situation is the direct result of Arabs voluntarily leaving their homes on the eve of this invasion. They were promised by the invading armies a quick return, immediately after "jihad" - this "war of extermination and a momentous massacre, which will be spoken of like the Mongolian massacres and the crusades." (Arab League Secretary, Azzam Pasha).
Haj Amin Al Husseini, the Mufti of Jerusalem, declared, "a holy war, my Muslim brothers! Murder the Jews! Murder them all!".
Since Abraham, there have been incessant attempts by enemies from every quarter to destroy his progeny.
Some years ago the Queen of England asked Disraeli, her Prime Minister, for proof of the existence of God. "What", she asked, "is there to prove the existence of God, Benjamin?" His response was simply, "The Jew, Your Majesty." A simple answer on the surface, but profound in its implications.
As miniscule Israel on a map seems to point like a dagger at the heart of radical Islam, the Jew points at the heart of every human being hostile to the concept of God. Man tries to "scientifically" explain away the Creation. We alter history to explain away the Exodus. Men change the Bible and sons of God become children of God. Scholars even debate the existence of Jesus Christ as the "Son of God". We can prove conclusively that Easter is not a Christian holiday, that Jesus was not born on December 25th, and that Sunday is not necessarily the Sabbath. We can dispute almost every evidence of God's existence, except one, the Jew. In spite of every effort toward their deliberate extermination, from Haman to Hitler, from Azzam Pasha to Saddam Hussein, the Jewish nation has survived. Despite the fact that Israel has been invaded several times by numerically superior armies committed to her destruction, the tiny nation state remains, a testimony to God's faithfulness.
"On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves." (Zech. 12:3)
Proof of the existence of God? "The Jew, Your majesty."
The real war against Israel is not religious, economic, or even territorial.
It is Spiritual.
