Nothing Less, Nothing More

Examine your heart, look deep within you soul.
Have you been cleansed of sin, made whiter than snow?
What are you trusting in, to get into heaven?
Are you anchored in polluted waters
or a safe haven?

Have you been caught in the middle of a storm?
May you see your need to be spiritually reborn.
Who can calm the winds and waves?
I tell you this only Jesus Saves!

Without Him nothing less will ever do;
Only through Christ's blood can God accept you;
Besides Him nothing more can purchase your salvation;
Good works without faith in Christ won't bring transformation.

You say But sir I'm trying to be religious;
I say Without God's spirit man's ways are grievous.
What can you subtract or add to the cross?
Nothing less or more, believe the truth or suffer loss!

Jesus is the light, bread and water of life;
His blood atoned for our sins, the perfect sacrifice;
Every false idol and way, you must abhor;
There could never be, nothing less, nothing more!
