Dear God!

Dear God!
I've been struggling with asthma ever since I was a child. I know that you have healed many people. Please tell me what I can do to get healed once and for all.

Dear Gina,
God's word is God medicine. Proverbs 4:22 says, "My words are medicine to all their flesh." But, you have to learn how to take God's medicine in order to get it to work for you.
We know that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, because Romans 10:17 says so. But the real truth about the matter is that His medicine won't do you a bit of good if you heard it over and over again for twenty years yet still continue to think wrong and talk wrong. You've got to hear God's word, because that's how faith comes, but then you've got to act on your faith.
God's word is medicine to all our flesh. There's nothing it won't cure.
Healing is God's will. The Bible says there is no sickness in heaven. So we know from Matt 6:10 "…Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. They kingdom come. They will be done on earth as it is in heaven." That it is God's will that there be no sickness on earth.
Here are a few powerful doses of medicine I'd like to prescribe for you, Gina. Speak them continually out loud over your situation, (or quietly if someone else is in the room):
3John 1:2 "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth."
1John 5:14,15 "And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us: And if we know that He hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him."
Deut. 7:15 "And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness,"
Jeremiah 30:17 "For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord."
Jeremiah 33:6 "Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.
Romans 8:32 "He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?"
2 Kings 20:5 "…I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears; behold, I will heal thee…"
Gina, God is faithful to watch over His word and perform it for all who will dare to believe it, receive it, and act on it. God wants you healed!
