|What is Revival and who needs it?
A call to REPENTANCE!
These doctrines of Jesus, which are written in the Holy Bible, have the true answer!
Jeremiah 8:4-6 ...‘Thus says the LORD:...Why (have you) people slidden back...in a perpetual backsliding? (You) hold fast to deceit, (you) refuse to return. I listened and heard, But (you) do not speak aright. No man repented of his wickedness, Saying, ‘What have I done?’ Everyone turned to his own course...

I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.
Ezekiel 36:29+31-32 I will deliver you from all your uncleannesses. Then you will remember your evil ways and your deeds that were not good; and you will loathe yourselves in your own sight, for your iniquities and your abominations. Revival came to Nineveh
Jonah 3:4 (Jonah)...cried out and said, “Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown!"
In response to Jonah's warning...
Jonah 3:8-9 (The King of Nineveh decreed) ...let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily to God; yes, let every one turn from his evil way and from the violence that is in his hands. Who can tell if God will turn and relent, and turn away from His fierce anger, so that we may not perish?
Jonah 3:5 So the people of Nineveh believed God, proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth (a coarse cloth worn as a sign of mourning or penitence.), from the greatest to the least of them.
Jonah 3:9 Then God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God relented from the disaster that He had said He would bring upon them, and He did not do it.
Revival came to Judah and Jerusalem
2 Kings 23:2-3 (King Josiah) ...read in their hearing all the words of the Book of the Covenant which had been found in the house of the LORD. Then the king stood by a pillar and made a covenant before the LORD, to follow the LORD and to keep His commandments and His testimonies and His statutes, with all his heart and all his soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people took a stand for the covenant.
The evidence of true revival is a sorrowful, contrite heart which is only possible when Jesus causes His people to humble themselves, awaken from error, repent of their sins, turn back to His word and to love Him more than this world.
