Is being poor a sin? What does God think about the poor? These doctrines of Jesus, which are written in the Holy Bible, have the true answer! Job 34:19 ...(God) is not partial to princes, Nor does He regard the rich more than the poor; For they are all the work of His hands. Therefore... Leviticus 19:15 ...You shall not be partial to the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty. In righteousness you shall judge your neighbor. James 2:2-4 …if there should come into your assembly a man with gold rings, in fine apparel, and there should also come in a poor man in filthy clothes, and you pay attention to the one wearing the fine clothes and say to him, “You sit here in a good place,” and say to the poor man, “You stand there,” or, “Sit here at my footstool,” have you not shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts? James 2:5-6 Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him? Isaiah 32:7 the schemes of the schemer are evil; He devises wicked plans To destroy the poor with lying words, Even when the needy speaks justice. Psalms 10:2-3 The wicked in his pride persecutes the poor...the wicked boasts of his heart’s desire; He blesses the greedy... Know this... Proverbs 14:31 He who oppresses the poor...(And)...Proverbs 17:5 ...He who mocks the poor reproaches his Maker... 1 Corinthians 1:27 ...God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty... James 2:5-6 ...Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom... Jesus never warned the poor for being poor, but He did warn the rich. Beware of false teachings declaring that being poor is a sin, curse or a lack of faith. Poverty is not a sin, but the love of this world is!
