Dear God!

      Are you ever lonely?

Dear Curious,

      Several years ago, while I was in Bible School spending nearly every waking moment seeking His face, He blessed me with His amazing presence and I asked Him this same question. He answered me with a gentle smile, "That's why I created people like you."

      I was taken aback at His answer, feeling totally humbled and undeserving of such a comment until I remembered that God's word clearly says that we were created to have fellowship with Him. (1John 1:3 & 1Corin. 1:9)

      It is vital to our Christian walk that we remember who we are in Christ, which gives us the right to be the sons of God and joint heirs with Jesus. That means that everything that belongs to Jesus also belongs to us!

      The devil wants you to believe that God doesn't love you, but the devil is a liar.

      Know that you are the apple of His eye, (Deut. 32:10), and that you were created in His very image! God wants you to know that you are loved; and He wants you to realize the power, the privilege, and the anointing that you have within you to always walk in victory. God is still the devil's boss...and so are you.

Dear God!

      I believe that I know what you have called me to do, but I just don't have the confidence to do it. Help!

Dear Daughter,

      You are in great company! Moses was insecure when God told him to go tell Pharaoh to let his people go because he stuttered, yet God used him to deliver a nation! Gideon was hiding in the wine press when the angel of the Lord found him. Gideon had zero confidence! But God called him a "mighty man of valor". Aren't you glad that God sees us the way He created us to be and not the way we sometimes see ourselves?

      When Michelangelo was ordered by the Pope to decorate the walls of the Sistine Chapel, he refused. He said that he had never done anything like that before and did not feel that he was capable. The Pope, however, insisted and told Michelangelo that his refusal would not be accepted. When he realized that he had no alternative, he went to work and created one of the world's finest masterpieces. With God all things are possible.
