Dear Ms Ramsey
My wife has that terrifying disease called Alzheimers. It seems like it has been
with us a long, long time.
I think God has forgotten us.
- Charles
Dear Charles,
Thank you for your beautiful, powerful, and very honest letter. You speak for thousands
who also cry out for help in this hurting and dying world.
Two things you MUST believe: 1) God has NOT forgotten you. 2) God is NOT guilty.
God loves you, and your wife. He wants her well and in health, NOT sick.
So, why is she still sick? Because there is someone else who wants her dead. His name
is Satan, and "he comes to steal, kill, and destroy." (John 10:10)
There is a real battle going on in the spirit realm for not only your wifes
health, but for her life.
Charles, Gods will for you and your wife is "that you prosper and be in
health, just as your soul prospers." (3 John 2)
The key lies in the way you signed your letter. Doubt and unbelief are lying traitors
against God, and must be destroyed.
We each have a choice to make. We can chose to BELIEVE GOD and hold fast to His
promises until they come to pass; or we can choose not to believe God, and suffer the
consequences.
Remember Job? Job had done nothing wrong! Yet, in spite of all his suffering, he
remained faithful to God; and God restored him double!
Whatever you can believe God for, God can do - "But let him ask in faith, with
NO DOUBTING, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
Let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;" (James
1:6&7)
Charles, we serve a God of miracles! I KNOW He has one for you. Therefore, I encourage
you today to PRESS IN, and refuse to be refused!
Believe God for your wifes healing and kick doubt out of your life. Im
going to set my faith with yours, in agreement.
Yet, we must always remember that God is God, and we are not. And, although He NEVER
puts sickness on anyone, its not for us to question the tests and trials He allows
us to go through. They will always make us stronger if we trust Him to take us through.
GOD LOVES YOU! And He is always faithful, even when we are not.
Pray in faith, and you will not live in doubt.
