It’s not a question of whether or not God speaks to us, (HE DOES), but rather, do we take the time to sit before Him and listen?

God actually talked with Moses face to face. "And the Lord spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend." (Exodus 33:11).

If Moses, Enoch, and Abraham could walk and talk with God and be His friends, so can we. But in order to be that close with God, you have to choose God; you have to serve Him in truth and sincerity.

I believe that many people miss visitations from God because they are waiting for something to happen they can see or touch in the natural realm. It doesn’t happen in the natural realm; it happens in the spiritual realm.

God promises you in His Word, Wendy, that if you "draw near to Him, He will draw near to you." (James 4:8).

Where am I missing it? I have been a Christian for fifteen years. All I see in my life is defeat. Help!

God does not understand defeat, so why should you? God has never known defeat. If you are being led by the Holy Spirit, who is on the inside of you, He’ll lead you into victory every time. The only thing the Spirit understands is victory.

I’ll tell you why I’ve missed it every time I’ve missed it; I didn’t listen to my spirit. My spirit was saying "NO, NO, NO," and my head was saying, "YES, YES, YES"

Dan is there a war going on inside of you? Is your mind saying, "YES, YES, YES", but your spirit is saying "NO, NO, NO,"? Tell your mind to shut up, and listen to what the Spirit of God on the inside of you is trying to tell you.

Spend more time in prayer and seek Him with all your heart. He will answer you. In fact, He may be allowing you to walk through those things you are walking through, so that you will turn to Him for help.

God wants you to succeed Dan, even more than you want to succeed. His will for you is "that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers." (3 John 2).
