In the past few years several newspapers carried articles about the "smart card." Mastercard, Visa and others were teaming up to produce "cash smart cards" that could be used to make purchases. These smart cards are imbedded with a computer chip, about the size of a pinhead, that will automatically deduct the amount of your purchase from your bank account.

Warnings from end times prophecy experts were sounded that this technology would lead to a universal system of enslavement under a computerized global network of electronic bondage. We were warned that, in the future, we would not be able to buy or sell anything, anywhere without the smart card. We would be living in a "cashless society." Debits and credits would replace cash. We were also warned that the next step would be "a computer chip" implanted in our right hand or forehead and without the mark (chip), there would be no income, no food and no shelter.

The computer chips are now in our automobiles. If stolen, the auto can be traced by a computer chip "transponder and responder" (it receives and transmits) anywhere in the world. Later these same computer chip transponders and responders were implanted in animals so the animal could be easily located. The most recent news concerned implanting the computer chips in newborn babies. Then, we are told, if our child were ever lost, we could locate them by simply sending out a signal and the implanted computer chip would respond giving us the exact location of our lost child. (It sounds so practical, doesn’t it?)

I’ve had a regular visa charge card for several years. Recently my local bank merged with a larger bank and I, without being consulted, was issued a "smart card – visa card" combination. They informed me that my old visa charge card was no longer valid. I’m told that I don’t need cash anymore. Instead I can just show my computer chip-implanted smart card.

Are you like me? I become concerned and sometimes even a little fearful when we talk about end times, but I am inclined to agree, it does seem that we are approaching the last days. Possibly sooner than we think.

Technology experts tell us that implanting a microchip with an individual identification number just beneath the skin is now a practical reality. Individuals so numbered could be easily identified, located, tracked, controlled and found anywhere in the world!

Is the smart card with its computer chip implant the first step in ushering in the Mark Of The Beast? What happens if we don’t accept the Mark Of The Beast? What happens if we do accept The Mark Of The Beast?

To answer these questions, let’s look at some scriptures found in the book of Revelation, Chapters 14 through 16.

Anyone who DOES accept the Mark Of The Beast:

Will be tormented with burning sulfur forever and ever. Rev. 14:9 & 11

Will break out with ugly and painful sores. Rev. 16:2

Will be scorched by the sun’s heat. Rev. 16:8

Will live in total darkness. Rev. 16:10

Will be deceived by demon spirits. Rev. 16:12

Will suffer through flashes of lighting, rumblings, peals of thunder, severe earthquakes and hailstones weighing a hundred pounds each. Rev. 16:18 & 20

If we don’t accept the Mark Of The Beast, we can’t buy or sell. Rev. 13:16 & 17. We will have no money or medium of exchange. We will lose our homes and jobs. We can’t buy food, medicine or shelter. We will die or be killed.

As the end times approach, the most important thing for each of us is to have a right relationship with our God, and prayerfully seek His direction as we make decisions. This is especially true in this matter regarding modern technology and computer chip implants in our bodies.

To do this, let’s look at some Biblical scriptures together.

"The world and it’s desires pass away but the man who does the will of God lives forever." 1 John 2:17. John 11:25 & 26 tells us, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"

I believe this! You can too! You can know that you will live forever with God! Here’s His plan of salvation and eternal life for each of us.

Repent – Repent, then and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord. (Acts 3:19)

Confess – If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)

Believe – For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

Receive – Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God. (John 1-12)

Gods Free Gift – For the wages of sin is death, but the (free) gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

Gods Promise – Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5)

If you’re not a Christian, I urge you, make that decision right now. Do it today!

I’m convinced! Even in the end times, in the last days, I’m going to trust God! God will never forsake us! We’ll live forever, with Him! We must be firm in our commitment to Christ. Never allow a microchip to be implanted in your hand or forehead. Even though you can not buy or sell without it, do not receive this Mark Of The Beast!
