Dear U.S. Senate,
I am aware of your great responsibility to decide whether or not to impeach President Clinton.
Comparably, as a Jr. High student my greatest responsibilities include, spending my lunch money properly and taking out the trash.
However, I need for you to answer some very important questions for me so that when I am older I will handle my adulthood
responsibilities properly.
I hear many people say that things like perjury and obstruction of justice are no big deal. On the other hand, I hear others say
that President Clinton should be impeached for lying to the Grand Jury and obstructing justice.
Is lying OK when I feel I need to protect myself? Do I have permission to lie as long as I don't think it's a big deal?
Thank you for taking the time to listen to me and for considering my important questions. I eagerly await your response, which may greatly
influence my decisions in life.
Sincerely, An American Teenager
