YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Jesus gave His life for you!
     What will you do for Him?
Will you help the poor and needy?
     Will your light be bright or dim?
The hungry, thirsty and naked are without.
     Will you be one to fill the need?
Many fatherless and widows are suffering,
     your visit will be a good deed.

The sick and afflicted need comfort.
     Will you show them how much you care?
You can minister with the love of Jesus.
     In their pain will you be there?
Those in prison need to be enlightened,
     many await the words that bring hope.
Will you go and share the Gospel
     or leave them in the dark to grope?

Can you not see the fields ripe
     unto harvest with laborers few?
Let us lead souls to Christ
     if we are believers faithful and true!
Will you reach out to the least of these?
     Your faith without works is dead!
If you are a servant of the Lord
     then go and do what Jesus said.

Yes, you can make a difference
     in the lives of hurting souls!
Do not be apathetic and indifferent,
     a man will reap what he sows!
Now take a good look all around,
     surely there is something you can do.
With the love and compassion of Jesus,
     you can make a difference too!
