The Truth Will Set You Free!

These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.
(Acts 17:11)

Am I Doing Something Wrong? Dear God!

Those things that you promised me, and that were prophesied to me, just don't seem to be happening. Did I miss it? Was I just imagining the visions? Am I doing something wrong?

Dear God's Daughter,

God is not schizophrenic! He doesn't lie. What He has shown you, prophesied to you, HE WILL DO.

Abraham, although he was 100 years old, "did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief," but was "convinced that what (God) had promised, He was also able to perform." (Romans 4:20&21) So Abraham went on to have a son, Isaac, and to become the father of many nations.

In the book of Numbers chapter 13, we are shown clearly why most people never cross over into the promised land that God has divinely planned for them to live in. Out of the twelve men who were sent to spy out the land, only two came back with a positive attitude. The other ten men said, "We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we." (verse 31) But Caleb and Joshua had faith in what God had told them and got excited: "Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it." (verse 30)

Which group do you belong to? Are you still believing God for that which He has promised you? Or do you think He lied?

If you turn to chapter 33 of the same book, God gives you specific instructions for conquering Canaan, (your Promised Land). Notice how He tells you (seven times!), in verse 51-54, that YOU must step in, take authority, "drive out", "destroy", "demolish", "dispossess" the enemy before you can "inherit...the land I have given you to possess." In other words, you can't just waltz your way into Canaan, you have to war your way in!

Many Christians never receive the promise because they continue to "wait on God", believe God", or "trust in God"; but they are not willing to step out in faith and "take it by force" the way God has commanded that they do! Why? Because it is easier to be passive and complain. We must have a settled determination to live in our destiny! We must be willing to fight the devil, kick him out of our lives, and take over Canaan!

How do you hit the devil? With a strong determined voice of faith... "BY HIS STRIPES I AM HEALED!", "GOD HAS GIVEN ME THE POWER TO GET WEALTH, AND HE DELIGHTS IN MY PROSPERITY!" Live with Rulership and Abundance!
