Carla Varga is a locally known contemporary Christian artist who was born and reared in Cleveland, Ohio. 
Carla began singing in churches at age 18. She was involved with bands and choirs as well as doing solo work. With her soft alto voice she performed popular Christian music of various artists and as her desire grew to serve God so did the desire to begin writing original music. 
Carla has completed her first album in 1992 entitled "Heaven Bound" which has ten original songs. She continues to write songs and says that her song-writing is an overflow of her time spent alone with God and He ministers to her through prayer and His Word. She states, "if the songs I sing and write don't touch my heart and minister to me, than how can I share honestly what God has done for me and how much He loves and cares for us all!" 

This young woman has a deep longing to minister the healing power of God found only in and through Jesus Christ. She has traveled the road of uncertainty with a physical trauma that afflicted her three years ago. Since that time she has experienced not only the physical healing touch of the Lord but also spiritual and emotional healing as well. 

"God touched me in such an incredible way during that difficult time of my life that I want people to know just how real God is, and realize how intensely He loves them."  She now is walking victoriously through the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit as God continues to bless and guide her ministry. 

Carla and her husband, Russ have been married for 16 years and they reside in South Euclid, Ohio with their three daughters. She and her family attend Cuyahoga Valley Community Church. 

Carla's mission is to touch the hearts and lives of people with the healing word of God in song and glorify the only one worthy of praise, Jesus Christ.
